Recovery Mode

Hi,

Ive been using a minimus board since they were released and am a very happy chappy on 3.41.

I'm thinking of now going to 3.55 due to the new lv2 patcher however im at work (cant test at home right now) and have a question that searches cant seem to answer !

when peeps say go into recovery mode, is that using a downgrade dongle or should i be able to do it on my SLIM stock 3.40 ?
