I am new to game backups, I'm using Kmeaw's CFW. I've tried a few times to backup my game with Multiman and Gaia (2.0 since 2.02 wasn't out when I went to bed.. haha) and both managers, no matter what I do, will start reading from the hard drive and it will just go back to XMB.. Now, I did install the 1.20 update because I have the disk, I'm not sure if that makes a difference or not?

Something else I've noticed on those compatibility lists is that this game keeps putting tested with Hermes payload, and no sign of PL3...

Would patching the EBOOT for HDD work with the update? I need to keep the update, stuff goes weird with the gamesaves...

Thanks for all your help, hopefully this wasn't answered before, I've googled the crap out of it with no success, especially no info with this and PL3..

It's weird I'm having trouble with the exact same backup.
Every other backup I've tried are running 100% perfectly but this game keeps crashing during play/not booting and I have no idea why.
I have it running from external drive, copying it over to internal now to see if that makes any difference

Copied to internal, tried booting the PS3 crashed before it even left the XMB... WTF is going on with this game?! lol

when you go back to the xmb the game will be in the app/home folder,or if you have a bd in the drive it will appear there just click to load it

Same here
Kmeaw's CFW + Gaia Manager 2.04 = not working, internal and external.

Both lock up randomly while playing; most of the time during the boot, level-loading, or saving process.

All the 3.55 CFW, except geohot, is prone to crashing and freezes.

I gave up on on 3.55 and moved back to hermes 3.41 and no more crashes.



But I found the most stable 3.55 option was the newest kmeaw + multiMAN 1.3.04 + lv2-v4

except this is the ONLY game thats crashing on me, so there must be a solution to the problem that me and others seeem to be having.

Hey guys, I'm new here and wanted to add my experience to this thread. I too am having freeze issues with this game. I tried playing from the actual disk for a while and having the game create a couple save files before I dumped the disk with Gaia. This did nothing for me. I'm still crashing at random times. Most of the time I can't even get into the game. Yesterday, it crashed as I was mounting the disk and going back to the XMB.

I'm on KMEAW and Gaia 2.04. This is the only game that I've had issues with thus far. Since I own this game, I'm playing it off the disk, but I'd love to run it off the drive like all my other games.

I'm wondering if there is something missing like Assassin's Creed 2 and Brotherhood. Both those games I had to add the folder "ASSASSIN_ISO" to the USRDIR of the backup folders. Those games wouldn't load without it.

Nothing but problems for me, too. I have the US version of the game and I'm running kmeaw 3.55. I tried it on Gaia 2.04 and the latest Multiiman, but the freezes have been fairly constant either way. I've tried downloading the update and without. I've tried running some of the lv2 files and fixes, even though they shouldn't be needed with what I have, but it still doesn't take the game long before it freezes right up. The first time I tried to play, the game didn't even give me the starter gun. And when I got the first gun you're supposed to get, it didn't let me use it.
