Quick Ex HDD question..?

Hey all,
I have been backing up my games for a bit now via Multiman 1.17 on 3.55 Kmeow CFW. I transfer them between my PC with blackbox because I didn't get a Ex HDD until today. I formatted to FAT32 and backed up my game on it with multiman with no problems. My question and problem here is..? Can I just copy my Backups (alrdy transfered to PC earlier) on my Ex HDD from my PC and then plug my Ex HDD to my PS3 and play from there instead of using Blackbox? I put the games in the GAMES folder Multiman created but when I plug into my PS3 I cant select them. I see them when I use my file manager but I can't select to play them. Am I doing something wrong? Any help will be greatly appreciated

as far as I'm aware mM doesn't create folders on external, but make sure it is in all caps GAMES or GAMEZ and also check your options.ini that this is where mM will look

Well when backed up my game to my Ex HDD it made a GAMES file and thats where it stored the game. Where would I check these options? In the MM file manager?

If the games are copied to the external hard drive and in the GAMES folder try pressing SELECT + L3 so Multi-Man will rescan all available drives.

Are any of the ones you are trying to select split games? (For example a game with a file bigger then 4gb)

Haven't checked for split files but they are over 4gs. Oh and side note when I go to MM options to change to FAT32 or FTPS I click ok that my HDD is plugged in and it gets into a black screen with a little D on the bottom right hand corner and from there I need to restart my PS3 because nothing happens.

Update: I have tryed a differant BM (Rogero) be exact and it reads my Ex HDD games with no problems. Is there a way to force MM to rescan or something?

if mM doesn't find them on startup odds are you need to change the options.ini

Well I feel like the biggest noob ever.. I just hit refesh in MM's menu and it found my Ex HDD games =P Sorry for my noobness..
