Here is Quick and Dirty PS3 Game Update Downloader v1.0

Quick instructions

1. Select base path of your PS3 games. A list of games and updates available will show.
2. Select game from list and click download update.
3. You can rename the game folder "BLESXXXXX - Game Name" with Rename Game Folder Key.
4. Updates will be in "BLESXXXXX - Game Name\UPDATES"
5. Copy Link will copy update link to clipboard so you can use thrid party download managers

Quick and Dirty PS3 Game Update Downloader v1.1

1.1 - Minor bug fixed - Buttons on bottom not resizing
1.0 - Initial release. Everything show work ok.

Some people are supicious because this is my first post. That's true, because I'm usualy a reader of this forum and I wish to remain anonymous.

Some people also gets suspicios because this game updater opens a lot of connections to a0.ww.np.dl.playstation.net . Well, that's here the updates are, so if you have 20 games it will open 20 connections to that address, so it's normal.

I did this update downloader because all the other ones are lacking lots of features. It will scan all game folders for PARAM.SFO and check all updates available.

Well, hope you like it and please post some comments.

Thanks so much! Love the rename feature, makes it easier on the eyes.
I registered just to post on this thread. Scanned with Jotti, tried to run Sandboxie'd, didn't work, lol.

Suggestions:
-An option to rename it to just the BLESXXXX without the '- GAMENAME' appended.
-Disable update searching upon launch (add a button to 'Search' selected games)
-Option to choose alternative place/folder for update .pkgs
(instead of the "default" 'GAMENAME/UPDATE' folder, it always helps to have a choice where to save!)

I have also been reading that the updates (most) are NOT cumulative,
so when downloading the Black Ops update it just downloads 1.06 and not the older ones..
This is the MAJOR drawback of the application, IMO. I could be wrong though.

Thanks! That's working well for me. Guess Black Ops only has the one update.
Didn't try a game with multiple updates, so idk if this program does it.
Either way, this program will be used for the renaming of my folders! (:

just a question, I want to update Red Dead Redemption v1.0 and the patch is 1.06, does it include all the previous updates or is it different in every game?

I got the ps3 for christmas and i bouthg 2 games in the months after. Ressistance and Assassins Creed.

I`ve finished those so i need a new game to play on.
Can annyone recommend something good.
