Question regarding games that require 3.56 or 3.60 –

Hi everyone
I have a few questions regarding games that require firmware version of 3.56 and 3.6 that I hope you guys could help me out. I'm currently using kmeaw 3.55 with gaia 2.07.
I did some search in the forum and found these solutions that seem related
1. Run the games using rogero 8.2 or later that has bult-in 3.6 spoofer
2. Use 3.60 version spoofer from rebug
3. Use ebootfix to create new files to overwrite
Does any of the above tricks work?

#3 is what you'll need to do, or find a pre-created patch by another user to overwrite the necessary files.

A spoofers only purpose is so you dont accidentaly upgrade.
True 3.6 games cannot be played at all right now(on CFW).
others can, with paramsfo being modified and eboot, the latest managers will do this for you.
but it does depend on what sdk they were produced with.
For example a game that is 3.56 but made using lower sdk can have its paramsfo and eboot edited to play on 3.55 and lower.

Thanks for the quick response
So the only way to play 3.56 now is to use ebootfix or patch with some backup managers? Which managers support that function? Multiman?

You have to do ebootfix / BM param.sfo fix. I believe the ebootfix program will give you all the necessary patched files that you just need to overwrite the originals with (don't forget to make a backup of the original files). The param.sfo fix is only half the equation, but if you're interested in knowing which BM's support it, I believe just MultiMan and Rogero.
