THANKS, now im downloading multiman 4.06 base.
anyway iread a manual of MultiMAN about mounting a game and says
"A lot of games will work without a disc in the drive, but some games need a disc to make proper disc insertion checking. The best thing to do is to always leave a game disc inserted in the blu-ray drive."
what if on my current situation my blueray drive is defective, and im only relying on the "★ /app_home/PS3_GAME/" ?
is there a possible solution on making those games be played without the need of a physical blueray disk inserted in the drive.?
thanks for babysitting me..![]()
does the disc icon not show when a disc is inserted?(as it doesn't actually have to read the disc per say) Only other possible solution ATM that I can think of is the full disc-less compatibility of the CobraUSB dongle

NOPE, NO DISC ICON APPEAR when the disk is inserted. Sadly COBRA dongle never reached its market here in the Philippines. They only sell TRUE BLUE instead. No Paypal acct to purchase goods online. Therefore, no COBRA.

good luck!
I figure it's not a priority as it's mainly intended for the old BC models (probably not too many alive anymore, I know mine is) even though the PS1/PSP support is for all consoles the PS2 isn't but yes indeed complete disc-less support does need to be found (for all those dead drives out there (though we do have the knowledge to re-marry them ourselves now
)

hey, just to inform you that i fixed my blueray drive by cleaning the lens. I just used a cotton swab, isoprophyl alcohol and a flat tip STANLEY precision screw driver for opening the unit (size 1.4, 2.0, and 2.4 mm). My unit was really a dust eater. And anyone could try just what i did. Thanks to google for that helpy info.
now im enjoying playing my backups again using a disk. I'll just have to wait for a release of a cfw that could enable my ps3 BC to play ps2 backup/iso. Have a nice day!
