PS3 games on the XMB –
Hi guys, I've read a few tutorials on how to launch PS3 games from the XMB but they are outdated, I have 2 PS3s, one with Rogero 4.46 and the other one with Rebug 4.46
I will be grateful if someone can point me to a recent tutorial on how to do that, I watched a video on YouTube showing the procedure for PS2 games but as far as I understood, this method is for PS2 games only.
Aldostools has a great GUI interface for this exact thing: lastGAME Customizer. You can select where the game is booting from, HDD, USB000, or USB001, and just put the the file location in for the EBOOT.BIN file and click "make" (something like that), it creates a PKG for you to run on the PS3. Once you run the PKG it shows up in the XMB. I have like 12 games I am always playing in there right now from this method. Totally easy. From what I remember you can even change if it patches the USB or not when the game loads too.

Cool I think I will give it a try with a couple games I have from the Mm GAMES dir on the internal hdd.
Thanks for the help, I will give it a try
