PS3 game backup error 80010017

Hi there

So i've been stuck with this problem for a while.

setup:
PS3 slim, kmeaw CFW 3.55.
newest gaia manager

What happens:
When I launch a game in gaia, i go to run the game on the bluray disc which correctly states: TEKKEN 6.

It then goes black and later takes me back to XMB and showing the error code 80010017.

According to sony, this error code means: Can’t start Blueray Game

Now i've searched and tried everything... Even did a quick format, problem still persists. Should i do a full format or is there some faster solution?

It's because your game has modified files. Remake a backup from the original disk and the game should run fine.

I was, however pretty sure it hadn't modified any files. I really did search...

problem is that if you didnt back up your game from an original disc, then most likely you have modified files, as those where modified to work on 3.41, and those will not work on 3.55.
