problem with black screen in nhl11 –

i have tried a lot of ways to get it work but every way it ends up with black screen in the boot sequence. after the question if i want to update, i push cancel and the game starts to boot and it gets black. other games work like ssf4 and fifa. i've tried with bm2 and open m and got the same problem. i restart the ps and got the fail-message "broken data" i delete the data-file and got the same problem when i try to start it.
any suggestions?
thanks in advance

Were you booting it up from the games folder? Or did you emulate the cd using another game? NHL11 does not working without a game disc

what JB are device/payload/backup manager are you using?
Works fine for me with Hermes V3 (or better) and a disk in the drive. Only tested from external, but it plays just fine.
Works with Sexy Manager r2, Gaia rc7+, and OM 1.14+ in my tests, probably with older versions too.

That's what I figured.
When in doubt, try throwing a disk in the drive. It almost always fixes your problems.
A quick search could have saved you time and effort, but no matter, now you know.
