Prince of Persia not working
Prince of Persia not working –
Hey all Im trying to get Prince of Persia(the reboot game 2008) to work with Multiman but for some reason it just goes to a black screen. I even tried with Gaia manager 2.07 and did the same thing.
Has anybody had this problem? Is there some things I can do to try to make it work.
In multiman, start the game by pressing SELECT + X. Then, from the XMB, start the game from the DISC. This will work with most of the black screen games.
look for a working tut later in the forum, you have to install a pkg which places an icon onto the main screen of the xmb. then you have to most of the in the installed game to another folder using multiman file manager. thne you just select the game from the icon on the xmb with the need for the multiman launcher.this is the only way the game will work.....................sudeki300
That is right, like sudeki300 pointed out. There is a thread for such things. Go to the link in my sig, and scroll down to the end with the links, and looks for the "3.41 and 3.55 pkg thread", whatever it is called.

And then I tried launching the game on the XMB and it didn't work it just brought me back to the XMB. Am I supposed to move the Prince of Persia Game Folder into a different folder? Its currently in one called GAMES.
I looked in tthousands links and the pkg for Prince of persia wasn't available any more.
Any other tips would be greatly appreciated.
If you have this game on USB HDD then just run it by pressing SELECT+X in MultiMAN.
It's really the easiest option.
If you want to have it on internal HDD then it's a little harder. You have to make links of the game files (shadow copy) to specific folders. They must be mentioned where you have found this pkg.
You can try, in MultiMAN's file manager, select PS3_GAME folder of Prince of Persia and press R3, it will make those links to "standard" folders. It may work.
I'm using such a pkg for PoP and it require the files in hdd0/game/G/1 instead of hdd0/G/XXXX12345. You can move them, do not copy.
You can make your own pkg using a tool from MultiMAN's creator, so it will be compatible. It's called EBOOT fix and it's in the BASE package of MM 1.17.02.
But what's the point? PKG for external?
