Is it possible for a Bluray to be F'd up beyond recognition by backup managers? "Star Ocean The Last Hope -International-" –
I got this used copy of Star Ocean The Last Hope, and it is in fair shape and plays fine from the disc. I thought Blurays had protective coating making scratches nothing to worry about, it has a few nasty ones. I cleaned it good though.
Anyway, this game does not want to be backed up, the ID is MRTC00001 and other people have reported it working on the internal. But I'm about to give up, because I've tried PL3 and Hermes payloads on my teensy 2.0 with 4 different backup managers. Giving each one at least an hour to do its thing.
Open Manager 2.1I - stays at 1.49gb, 2 hours on something about eboot.bin...
Multiman - stays at 1.49gb, I believe on aska000.bin...
Gaia Manager- SAME
Backup Manager 1.1- It completes installation! A total of 1.49gb.... When I mount it, you can see the pic1 image in the xmb and it has a scratchy version of the music playing. Launch it and it cannot read game data and returns me to the xmb.(worth a shot...)
So, I'm just asking for advise, should I GIVE UP or try leaving it on open manager all night assuming the managers are not reporting the size as it is being copied? Seems unlikely, any input would be appreciated.
