Pls Help with God of War 3

Hi everyone,

I have read posts until my head hurts and cannot get this thing to work.
I have put the game in my GAMES directory on my internal HDD of the PS3.

No matter what i try it kicks me back to the XMB.

I have 3.55 CFW on my PS3.

Anyone had this issue and resolved it?
I use Multiman because i cannot get Rogerromanager to install on my PS3.

Is it my Eboot fie?....i tried it with a disc in the PS3 but still no go.

Driving me MAD.

do you have a modified eboot for 3.41?
if you do thats the problem, only originals work on kmeaw.

also make sure you have a disc in the drive, any ps3 game disc will do.

is this the only game not working for you?

i think its a modified Eboot..I dont have the original so i cannot test it.

This is the only game i have found to be an issue so far, so thats why im so stumped.

Does anyone have an original EBOOT for this game?

I followed your instructions and now it works.

I found the original EBOOT and replaced it with the one on the PS3 and put an original game in the PS3...Now it works.

Your a Champion!!!!.....

By the way is there a way to play it without an original disk in the Drive?

Just curious, assuming you were already on 3.41 firmware and then moved to 3.55 CFW, why did you have/need a modified EBOOT.BIN file in the first place?

The Game was given to me by a freind.
I was not sure what EBOOT came with it.
