hey all, just got l a noire.had to split it to get it on the external HDD,i then used comgenie to move it to the internal HDD,copied fine (no glitches or hickups).what i want to know is,how do i play it? i cant see the game anywhere, nothing on the xmb or showing up on multiman.
do i need to get hold of a pkg to install an icon in the xmb or some thing?
can any one help me with this please?
im a bit of tech novice tho.

If the games not showing in MM at all its not been copied over correctly.. You're better off not splitting it and ftp'ing it over.

it works when played off the external fine, just no talking on it.
i sent it to the game folder where all the other bles/blus folders are on the ps3 and it took around 45mins so im pretty sure it copied fine.i cant ftp it cuz my laptop is dated and not good enough, last time i tried to ftp it took 69 hours befor i cancelled it. the game was only 7gb.

make sure you copied it to dev_hdd0/GAMES <dir> and not dev_hdd0/game <dir>. also, you can just use multiman to copy your games from external hdd to PS3's internal hdd. in latest multiman while in xmmb (xmb clone) press triangle button then press x on Backup/Copy option. it will also merge your split files automagically to internal hdd
