Playing backups online especially unsafe?
Playing backups online especially unsafe? –
While we all pretty much already know that playing PS3 backups online right now is pretty unsafe, either way, isn't the fact the the FW title of 3.55 CFWs have Wan/kmae/wut in their names make you an especially easy target? Sony said they do basic system info scans when the ps3 turns on, I would assume 3.55 (etc.) is sent to them and targets you for an easy ban. Even if you stealthed all your files on your PS3 your backup manager, cleared your pushlist...wouldn't simply the title of your FW give you away?
You can think about it all you want, but in the end you're either going to sign into the PSN and play some games, or you aren't. No one can answer your questions with certainty.
Sony can't tell the difference between someone who legally owns the game but is playing a backup of it, against someone who is pirating the game. There's a good chance Sony will be able to tell if you're playing a backup rather than a legit BD game, but who knows if they'll ban you for it.
