playing backups *need help...*

hello everyone... i have installed a backup copy of Bleach_Soul_Resurreccion i am using multiman and 3.55 kmeaw cfw... the game shows up on the xmb but when its time to load it the screen just goes black.. im new to this cfw scene jus jb my ps3 yesterday.. so i would be much oblidged if anyone could lend this noob a helping hand.. i did try to research it all over the net but never got the results i needed.... so pretty please ...

You need to use a patch and replace the original files in full game backup, you can get the patch at ps3scenefiles. Any game thats higher than 3.55 FW you'll have to do this for.

hey thanks for the advice... i did as you suggested but when i replaced the original file and tried to boot, it gave me an error instead of a black screen.. where do i go from here...

Sure you're on 3.55? also did you use Bleach.Soul.Resurreccion_BLUS30769.EBOOT.PATCH .100.USA.READNFO.PS3-N0DRM patch?

yes i am on 3.55 kmeaw.. well the file said it came with a patch for 3.55 then i went and downloaded a patch pack that didnt work and downloaded another patch from ps3scenefiles which is the one that gave me an error.. i dont think i have that one tho... ill check it out... ( edit: found it.. will test and let you know if it worked thnx...)

sorry it didnt work... back to black screen again... am i doing something wrong?? going to try to get another backup...

Yeah may be a bad rip. You're backup is BLUS right and not Japanese or something.

this is the title - [PS3] Bleach Soul Resurreccion [USA][ENG]].. yes its a BLUS backup.. so if u ask if its japanese does it mean the jap rips are a no go?
