OpenPS3FTP v1.3 - Blackscreen?

Hi,

I wanted to test the new version of OpenPS3FTP because of the HUGE NEW VERSION. Well I download the 1.3 version from PS3 Hacks :: Hack Your PlayStation 3, installed but when start it just get a black screen. Did I something wrong?

Is your ps3 jailbroken or on a cfw, cos if you are it should work

I noticed that since I updated to 1.3 that when it starts, it takes about 2-3 mins before it completely loads. Trying waiting about 5 mins max. See if that works.

I use CFW kmeaw. I switched back to blackb0x, this starts within 5 seconds.

Hey,

The black screen or delay of startup is caused by the new IP retrieval introduced in version 1.3. It doesn't hang at the beginning if there is an internet connection available. This has been fixed in version 1.4 which will be released soon (after a few final checks and tests).

I had the same thing happen and found it only hangs when you boot openps3ftp with the ethernet cable plugged into your pc/laptop.

Boot the app without the ethernet cable and it starts straight away then insert the cable and ftp away
