The guide above assumes we have F1 2010 on external drive first. Can we not FTP straight to internal drive? I don't have an external drive spare.
Dont mean to complain...It took me hours to get this working and when I did I was gutted. The 360 version kills this game. Its so much more detailed and playable on the 360.
Dont get me wrong i love both consoles but anyone who has both and plays this will soon notice.
I compiled it on Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit. Have you followed jtanner's tutorial on: http://jamestanner.co.uk/ps3/ ? Basically just follow his tutorial up to 'Creating Your PKG File'. When you get there, instead of using SDK Package Manager, open up MSYS, change your directory (using cd) to wherever you put your OpenBM 1.13 folder. Then type in MAKE - you should see a lot of writing come up. Then type MAKE gen_pkg and that will generate the .PKG files for you in the OpenBM 1.13 folder.

Do all games that need the patch, need to be copied to internal in order to work?
So after all that work (from some of us) hermes has announced just 30mins ago there will be a new payload ‘again’ tomorrow.
Good gentlemen: I have made a compilation with a new routine, supposing that the routine of deficiencies (the one that was patched and gave problems) receives the route of a file in the registry %r3 and there am addition a verification so that in case of using hard disk it returns 1 and it seems that the thing works (as I am to “blind people”, I must suppose the things and first I have caused the famous Lv1 Panic as a test )
For that “they do not understand” and they think that I speak in Chinese, is a routine that returns a 1 or a 0 based on that parameter is passed him as (assumes that the route of a file) and that has relation with the permissions of access to the files. Payload patches that and causes that it always returns 1 and that is what gave problems with games like the F1, so that we say that there is case where it would have to give back 0.
So in its place, which I am trying is to detect when it is acceded to the hard disk to fix the 1 that gives free bar us and to leave other things to its air.
Also I have taken care to cover devices USB, but all this requires space and as or we had to leave to us the normal space of exploit, so that he is a small one and to leave a routine in 0x700000, I have decided to move all the code to 0x7ff000, which adds 1MB extra to 1MB and tip that or had of distance from the modules to where we had the table of patches that did not fit to us.
The reason is obvious: we need extra space to work and the point where it is but out of danger, is at the end of those 8MB that seems to measure the Kernel (if equivocal me in this, that somebody corrects to me).
If it gives some problem (that I do not create), always there is possibility of giving reverse gear and of making the things of another form, but I believe that but the intelligent thing, is to run it downwards, which will allow to add but things us.
Today I am tired, so tomorrow I will raise the code so that toqueteéis . So far, the error that gave when copying the F1 me the external one from internal hard drive, no longer gives me and the F1 starts without problem from the internal hard drive, so it seems that the thing goes well
so if your readint this dont reply dont ask for the hex or OBM as by this time tmrw you wont need them...
Open Manager 1.13 compiled by me :
Size : 619*488 octets
MD5 : 4babec98f5da9f218e6de2fc18463329
SHA1 : 972f8a5478aca92c674311c9381a02df92331341
CRC32 : 6ecf2d70
If you want to FTP it to your hard drive, follow these steps exactly.

I hope so.
