Can't wait till your new release Moh!
Keep up the good work![]()

Hey kakaroto, I didn't mean to suggest you were arguing, I just meant that because only one payload is still being supported/developed -- now that Hermes quit -- it's kind of a moot point now to debate which is better. (Although it is interesting to hear your thought process and reasoning behind the philosophies of how developers should organize their work.) It's not as if the community is going to choose to go with the payload that isn't being developed anymore. If you have two payloads which do essentially the same thing, and one is defunct, it makes sense to support and use the one which is currently still active. But it's good of you to clear the air for added clarity.
In any event, as an end user, I can't really control which developer chooses to leave the scene for what reasons. What's done is done, I can only deal with things as they are. Given that there is no more development or improvement on Hermes payloads to be expected, as well as for the reasons of better clarity and organization which you outlined in your recent blog, I am glad people can start unifying behind PL3 and hopefully we can see some cohesion, unity of purpose, and great strides for the benefit of the community made as a result.
Thank you very much for all your continued hard work on the community's behalf. Keep up the good work!
yup waiting for the PL3 OBM fix for i can install PL3 for my broken (dead laser) PS3.
As i saw in the other thread it looks like people are now compiling using the new SDK so moh please use the new one so we do not heave to use the old and dated. In the kakaroto thread evilsperms VM
hey kakarot
reckon you can sort the eyepet/f1 issues with pl3? be great to have someone properly fix the games needing patched mode for good since im sure there wil be more in the future...if we break through the firmware barrier i mean..
great work on your payload just a shame i cant upgrade to it atm
MRDOCA I'm still curious as to the issues you're having. For some reason you still need to run these games in patched mode even though the payloads from Hemes v2 onwards have natively supported patch mode.
I can't comment on Eyepet as I don't have it, but F1 is working here on Hermes v2/v3 with OBM 1.16 and also on the latest PL3 hex from kakatoro's blog with OBM 1.17.
I know this isn't much help but I'd love to know why the payloads aren't executing the patched mode for you...
tested eyepet move with Kakarto paylod = NOT WORKING – STUCK
tested eyepet move with Hermes V4 – WORKING.

Though I've never tried F1 2010, I did last night play Eyepet for the very first time (Move Edition), so had no pre-existing game data on there.
I am currently using the Hermes PSGroove v3 + Waninkoko + Mathieulh combined payload.
After transferring to internal hdd....
Attempt 1 : Launch as normal.....it installed its game data as would normally happen on a first install. Got past the Move message screens, showed part of an intro screen showing the game title...but console froze (Music still playing....thought I had to press a button or something but to no avail)
Attempt 2 : Switch to patched mode, then ran same game, got past Move message screens, again..the game froze...but this time the screen was white...but music still playing (a few seconds before the picture came on and froze on attempt 1
Attempt 3: Same as attempt 2 - but deleted existing game data first. Ran fine.....switched off after about 30mins when annoyed with camera detection being crap
Not been able to try this new kakaroto payload yet, but MRDOCA - probably a silly question but did you delete all saved data from the previous install you were playing on the payloads previous?
