I don't believe there are any issues as long as you use OBM to copy the game. For your reference I am using the OMAN folder.
This WAS my situation. Some of you may want to read this.
I was having trouble with my SSF4 and F1 and the OM1.14 for some reason.
it was giving me the "No EBOOT FOUND" error on F1 and it was giving me the "No controller" on SSF4.
I finally got pissed because I knew I was doing everything right.
I re-installed OM1.14 over top itself and when it asked I chose the "Install games to Laun12345" folder.
I then deleted F1 and SSF4
While I'm in the OM1.14 I hit R2 to get in "PATCH MODE"
then I hit the "PS" button and "quit game"
I start up FTP on my PS3 (original 1st ever ftp pkg from PS3news) and then start my PC ftp (Filezilla)
I transfer the 2 games over to my PS3 in the Laun12345 folder. If it draws an error restart and OVERWRITE the file. DO NOT RESUME. You can resume the queue but overwrite the file it screwed up on.
when done, I go to the OM1.14 and made sure it still said patched in the top right corner.
I put a disc in the tray (GOW III) I choose to go back to the XMB when hitting enter on the game F1 or SSF4.
I then go to the disc and its there to play and it does work with no problems.
PS3 Slim 3.41
PS Groove Hermes V2
Open Manager 1.14.2
Hope this helps
Other games I had black screening are also working now.
I would appreciate if people could test these out as these builds are what are working for me. If your is here, try it.
OK, I am using the new TI-84 version that Brandon Wilson compiled, and when I try to boot a game, it gives me an error.
Note: F1 2010 works perfectly when I FTP it into OMAN#####/GAMEZ, folder. But I'd rather not have to switch between two separate directories to play games...there has to be another way around this mumbo jumbo.
However, non-the-less GREAT work to those who made OM possible, but these issues should be addressed.
Honestly, I'm thinking it has something to do with the different .hex payloads and some hermes not using the oman folder and others it just don't matter, or it does according to how the game was installed. Please those of you that are still having trouble, Go back and try my method PLEASE. I know it's a lot of work, like starting over, but if you want the games to work or to at least say you've tried it all, PLEASE try the method I have posted on the page before this.
Let us know if this helped your situation and post.
