Is it okay for me to update Red Dead Redemption?

I'm a bit paranoid about updates for these games sometimes. Of course I'm running a backup. BTW It asks me to update to 1.06. Also is it safe for me to go online?

If you must know, I'm on GAIA MANAGER 2.04 with Kmeaw 3.55

If an update at any time doesn't work, you can go to the game data utility in the game xmb and delete it.

Thanks, but now I ask another question: Can I go online?

if your on 3.55 CFW or OFW and have the lastest update for that game than you can go online on that game, otherwise no
