Noob needs help with Patches. 3.55 Waninkoko/Rogero7.8

Hey i´m new in this kinda scene and i got a question.
I got Waninkoko 3.55 CFW and runnin Rogero 7.8.

Well i tried to update some games.
Ok, Little Big Planet updated great, but i tried Battlefield Bad Company 2 and it didnt worked.

I Heard u cant Update Back Up Games, well LBP worked^^

Sooooo, how can u? Is there a way to update games?
Will it breack ur Ps3/brick it?

only some game are update compatible

fifa 11 is,
Assasins Creed Brotherhood too .. not sure though

Yeah, jus tried Assassins Creed^^
And it worked.
Is there any way to update Games like BFBC?

btw. any list?

Sry if this are silly questions for u guys, but i´m in this scene since a week.
