No More Heroes - Heroes Paradise FW Version?

I was wondering if anyone happens to know if NMH - Heroes Paradise is encrypted for 3.60? It was released this week in EU, and was released in JP last year. If it is, could the JP Eboot be used with the EU game?

Yes the game requires 3.60

You'd have to own both versions of the game in order to find out.

I know a few people that have tried the eboot swap, and it isn't working. :| I'm still waiting for a fix myself, NMH Is pretty much my favorite game. Right now I would suggest you just import the CHINESE version. It's the older censored japanese release, but has english menu's and voice dubbing.

I, too, was gutted when the English version turned out to have 3.60. Sony really are kicking themselves in the arse with this.. by painting everybody as pirates, they are - in actuality - hurting their own business. I would have bought NMH if I could, but not now. Not now it means Sony are forcing me to choose between a new game, or my entire machine and all the wonders of CFW/Homebrew.

Your loss, Sony.

yeah best thing u can do for now is play the jap/asia version.

i am, an it's better than nothing, even the dub is english so yeah can't complain much, other than the extras the red zone/newer versions of the game are getting.

but oh well.

Didn't know this game would come to the ps3. Glad to see it did but sad to see it's 3.6.

Where do you guys check for fixes/patches? Just lurke around in this forum?

Unrelated to OP, but found this

Hello,
I made a patch for this game, using the Japanese version, you can download it from here: MEGAUPLOAD - The leading online storage and file delivery service

90% of the game is in English, but USRDIR\SEC\AG05_SG_DATA.sec needed to be replaced from the JP version, because there are 3 additional files compared to the original JP release: EVENT_GALLELY_DATA.sd, parts.co3 z_menu_ps3.co3
Maybe someone more experienced could fix this, and it would be perfect, for now the character names, skill names, and maybe some other things are in Japanese, but everything else (story, battle, movies, etc) are translated!

Tested on: Internal, 3.41.

Its also been tested on 3.55 Kmeaw. So if this can be done for Record of Agarest war there must be a way to do it on other games...
