How can I make this game work? It keeps getting an error when I run it from XMB.
Hey doc, I got this issue, ya think you can prescribe me something???
You see how, in the example above, we have no idea what the issue is with his patient? If you're looking for help with something, it helps to give all the pertinent information. Firmware version, internal/external backup, console type, etc.
Alright, sorry about that. I have 3.55 KMEAMW and using Rogero Manager 8.2 but I've already tried it with Multiman 1.17.02, same result. It is located in an external HDD and I have a fat PS3.
The game requires a fixed eboot/param file to work. Did you do that already?
it also requires you to enable bd mirror in the game settings (select+x method didnt work for me on mulitman 1.17.02)
At first, I knew it needed FW 3.60 so Multiman automatically fixed it for me but it didn't work so when I reverted the param file to the default, it became 3.01, why is that? It's supposed to be back at 3.6 right?
How do you exactly fix the eboot OR param file? Do u have to do both?
X+SELECT Did work for me on 17.0.0.
with the fancy new options menu in 17.02 select x no longer works so you go to game settings and enable bd mirror.
as for the OP you just need to dowload a eboot for the game and replace the original one, multiman will fix the param.sfo file for you.
you can also use deans eboot fix tool to make your own.
Where do I get customized eboot files? How will multiman make the param.sfo file to be "3.55"? with the information from multiman, it's on 3.01 right now which is kinda weird.
You can search the forums here for a thread on NFS Shift 2 (I'm pretty sure there is one), or like Boxdgm, you can use Dean's ebootfix/ebootmod tools and fix the eboot.bin file yourself.
