Thanks to everyone that has contributed in getting NFS playable at last - truely great times!

Just to post my experiences as I suspect others may get the same.
Using regular Hermes V4B the game boots fine until you update to 1.01 which is necessary if you want to use a Logitech wheel.

When booting 1.01 it will complain that it needs to be firmware 3.50.

I changed to a spoof payload to try and get around it. But then it just black screened on loading rather than requesting 3.50.

If you delete the update game data it plays fine again.

Have other people experienced this or is it just me?

The fixed eboot.bin is only for 1.0, so if you update, you donīt have a decrypted self that letīs you play on 3.41.

You just have to wait until someone manages to fix the patchdata or do it yourself =)

Where would one find the update to delete it?
I have checked the obvious ps3_update folder in /gamez
The nfs hp folder in games also received the deletion treatment,
still i get the 3.41=>3.5 error.

Go to game data on the XMB, you will see installed updates for all your games there.

Just wondering if there has been any progress in getting 1.01 working on a 3.41 JB? Been reading the other thread in relation to CFW where people are reporting success.
Can anything there help get the update working on 3.41?
