NFS: Hot Pursuit Backup
NFS: Hot Pursuit Backup –
02-04-2011,11:49 PM
I recently hacked my PS3 with Kmeaws custom 3.55 firmware and I am having a problem with NFS Hot Pursuit. I am using multimanager to load the game from the internal hdd (with a disc in the drive), then booting the game from the XMB. When I choose the first level, the game starts to load but it just continues to sit on the loading screen, it doesn't freeze but it never loads. I tried a different level and it works until I beat it, then it stops in a similar way, but at a different screen. Does anyone have any idea what the problem might be?

in mm r1 to to patch, also try using the fix permissions pkg somewhere on this site.
also if that doesnt work, you must likely have a downloaded copy, in which case your files are modified, and 3.55cfw does not support modified files like eboots and what not

Bad backup or download, install, and run the fixpermissions.pkg from the first post in the multiman thread.

I booted the PS3, patched from Multiman (R1), then i loaded the game up and went back to the XMB and ran the fix permissions patch I already had dled and that didn't fix it. Then I figured maybe I had a different fix permissions than the one in the post you mentioned so i dled that one and when I go to install it says the same version is installed. So, i deleted the old one and installed the one you referred me to. When I attempt to run that one, I get an 80029519 error.
