Hi everybody, I'm trying to run the 1.01 patch of Need for Speed, when I install the patch, it creates the BLES00949 folder (It's EUR version) in dev_hdd0/game/ and I upload this EBOOT.bin and PARAM.SFO create by the update, you can download it from here:

MEGAUPLOAD - The leading online storage and file delivery service

I've already tried editing with SFOEditor the PARAM (changing the 3.5000 to 3.4100), and I've tried to overwrite the EBOOT.bin with the modify EBOOT.bin for 1.00 version from the "EBOOT repository" thread.
Doing this the game shows a message "update your system to 3.50 version".

If I edit the PARAM.sfo of this /game folder (create by the 1.01 patch) and I overwrite the EBOOT.bin, how can PS3 view the requeriment of 3.50 version?

It's possible to modify the new EBOOT.bin (version 1.01)? Or there's the same problem like GT5, the 1.01 EBOOT.bin was created using SDK 3.50? How can I see which version of SDK was used to create the EBOOT, usign and hexadecimal editor?

All this "research" it's due to the incompatibility of version 1.00 with Logitech Steering wheels,

Thanks so much for your help!

I'm trying to use fail0verflow tools and 3.50 keys to decrypt the NFS 1.01 EBOOT.bin (the file created by the patch in dev_hdd/game), when I use "unself EBOOT.BIN EBOOT.ELF" all I got it's an error message:
"invalid type: 00000008 perror: No errror"

With others EBOOT.BIN work properly, someone can help me with this?

    Thanks!

We can't decrypt NP-DRM eboot's apparently... but that's weird because
if i remember well some psn games were cracked so...
Maybe because of the piracy involved in it that tutorial is not released or whatever ?!
sucks if you ask me, GT5 is buggy as ****.(topic is about NFS but it's the same for GT5)
Yeah people wanted to play it on 3.41 now they can, but can't have that damnn update smh... just have to wait like a sheep lmao.
"10 years after the Playstation XXX AKA.Dr.Shlong, and the release of over 9000 best selling games including Gran Tiramisu and Fetal Fantasy VII, Sony began to look to the future. They saw a Playstation 2, which was unrivalled in it's sucsess."

I haven't experienced any "buggy" things in GT5.
I'm really enjoying it with a wheel.

Updates don't work yet on those newer games.

    Gt5 is not buggy here.

    Neither is nfshp.
