New Vegas crashing

I have been playing new vegas the past few days and the game seems to crash a lot, I am using multiMAN at first I had 1.12.05 using lv2 patch v1 then I tried using 1.14.00.

The crashes seem pretty random sometimes I can play for 2 minutes other times for 2 hours. Just wondering if anyone else has this problem before I try reinstalling the game or a different manager.

The game is buggy regardless of which backup manager you're using, playing it off a BD would be just as buggy.
