    Hello.

I've just ventured into the PS3 jailbreaking within the last week (I've fully modded 360's, Ps2's, Wii's, PsP's, Original Xbox) so I'm fairly familiar with the processes.

There are just a few things I can't follow...

Firstly I have a slim with 3.55 kmeaw FW. I use MultiMan 1.16 and Rogero 8.2

I've quickly gathered that it seems each game will not run the same way (IE: some internal, some from XMB, some from USB HDD)

Is there a general rule as to where I should install games and the foldername (name of game, or Title ID?) Due to the first game I ripped being sent to "dev0-hdd/Games/Game Title" by Rogero, that's where I've continued to place the games.

I've figured out that the dev0-hdd/game folder is where it stores updated or "installed" files or patches for each title, but again no one really specifies the best most reliable place to put the actual game backup (PS3_GAME).

I have 11 games (all supposedly compatible w/ my firmware) only 8 of which work correctly.

I have 3 games that are driving me crazy that everyone says should work, but I can't get them to work...I won't get into the specifics here though...I'd rather have the basics down before trying to band-aid individual games.

MM 1.16 needs BDEMU.pkg installed to run properly, so if you dont have that nows a good time to search and download that. Some games may only run on external hard drive only(will need to use select + X to choose your game), there are a few compatibility threads around this forum which may help. General rule of thumb leave a disc in your PS3 and run all your games from XMB rather than direct launch from chosen back up manager. Which games aren't working??

I had no idea about that BDEMU.pkg thanks.

The two that are giving me the most trouble are tekken 6 and mlb 11 the show.

Both have pkg files that supposedly work, but fail for me.

One Tekken pkg adds a folder to the dev0-hdd\ called ANT60001 and another pkg file adds one called BLT60001 while the title ID on my version is BLES60035 (shouldn't that match the folder in dev0-hdd/game ?) The broken english instructions also say to "upload" the usrdir folder to the newly created folder AVT60001 or BLT60001. Does that mean copy it or move it, and how does the pkg launcher know where I've stored the ACTUAL game? The XMB launcher is more or less just a shortcut right? I don't understand how it knows where I've put the actual PS3_GAME directory.

MLB is a whole 'nother headache that I won't get into right now.

Tekken 6 should work fine, you dont need to mess with anything to get it running. Try deleting the Tekken 6 game data(if any) from the game data folder on your XMB(leave the save data). open MM, click R1 over Tekken 6 then do the usual launching sequence. If you still run into the same problems you will have some files/folders missing or in the wrong places. Your best bet at this point is to re-rip the game from your disc.

In regards to MLB read up in the thread http://psx-scene.com/forums/f187/mlb...13/index4.html (MLB 11 THE SHOW Now Running on CFW 3.55) It talks about modified eboot to get the game running. Read up on modified EBOOT if you are unsure what it does and achieves.
