Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 –
Hi. i have the EUR version of the game. i have backed it up using the latest Gaia manager. i have also installed the game using the disk. however, when i try to load the game via the internal hdd, it just goes back to the xmb. (this is after i try to start the game by going to */app_home/PS3_GAME/).
is there a way to fix this.
btw i am using the e3 card reader with e3fw-hermes_v4b-kakaroto.
try using a game in the drive
just tried that. still goes back to the XMB
anyone else got an idea as to whats wrong?
downloaded game?? you shouldn't be doing that!!
if not just re rip your game again, or use another backup manager!
I have tried using multiman, open manager and Rogero Manager v7.8 and still no luck. anything else i can do?
i already backed up my naruto UNS2 it works like a charm on External HDD using Gaia Manager or Multiman if you have an external try using that. also go through list to make sure you can atleast play the game PS Jailbreak Compatibility List - Home
Try using gaia manager, works external/internal, you'll need any random retail ps3 game disc in the drive, and make sure direct boot/patch/ftp and whatever other options are off.
It should boot you back to the xmb, and the game disc you inserted should change to the game you're trying to run, then select it and it should play. If it doesn't work, you may have a bad copy of the game.
Thanks for that! I tried this method with my US version and it worked! Does this method make any other games workable too?

This is one of them. I use HermesV4B with both gaia and multiman and they both require a disc. Also I'm running the game on the internal drive.
