It works now because EU version 1.01 update contains new eboot.bin which is signed for earlier fw. US version updates only contains DLC stuff, but eu patch is like four times larger and has more than only DLC folders.
It feels like developers want us to be able to play it. lol.

Ellow,
Iw tryed and iw tryed to edit it for FW 3.41 JB but the game keeps black screening.
Iw "decrypted" the update, modified the EBOOT.BIN with Deank-s tools <--(this is the part im not sure is correct) and reassamble the .pkg.
Every possible file structure, no results.
Since the EBOOT.BIN can be modifyed with Deanks tools im sure the game will work on FW 3.41. Just needs a proper EBOOT.BIN modify (wich i guess im doing wrong).

regarding the 3.41 fix.
Without using update the game boots fine but then freezes after the first race when attempting to save the game.
Have tried usual fix perm,, bd mirror etc.
Question is do I have to apply the update before changing the eboot to the 3.41 version? If I apply after it asks me to change upgrade from 3.41 to a higher fw.
Thanks in advance.

On the other thread someone mentions they have 3.41'nd the update (I think) as well as the original eboot. However I can't find a modded update anywhere.
odd as motes always work hassle-free and it does say tested discless even.
Anyone else on 3.41 to shed any light on this please.
thanks again.
