OK so i have always played my split file games by transfering them to the internal through comgenie.

i wouls split the file like this for example

file.ps3 is 10GB so i split the file into 3 3GB size files and 1 1 GB size file like the following...

    file.ps3.001 3GB>> file.ps3
    file.ps3.002 3GB>> file.ps3.part.1
    file.ps3.003 3GB>> file.ps3.part.2
    file.ps3.004 1GB>> file.ps3.part.3

i have games saved on my external with large files replaced by split ones in the above fashion. When I go to game options and test the files to get the file count and game size it does not say that it counts split files.

    What am i doing wrong??

I ran into this myself a while back.If you do not want to re-rip the game, they have to be copied to internal with Comgenie.Multiman will not recognize these types of split files(Comgenie). Also if you do not want to rip the game again, but play off external through Multiman, you will have to copy them to internal with Comgenie...Then copy them back to external with Multiman.
