i did every thing ! .... googling and downloading every thing to got it work .. but no luck
da main prob is da game asks me to update to 3.50 wtf !
although i replaced da files (eboot.bin , etc) ...

any idea ... and i'll be highly thanks ...

To run Mortal Kombat 9 on hermes 3.41 u need to know two important things :
1- avoid installing the patch comes with the game ... or remove it , if u already install it [to get rid of update yr sys error]
2- download glove fix and replace eboot and sprx files ... dnt use another fix [or u may not be able to perform sp moves and fatalities] ..glove fix around 25~26 mb ... any other fix with 9~10 mb will not work with all moves

look 2 threads down. Called "problems with mortal kombat9". you need modded eboot and sprx. both are very easy to create with deanks tools. just ftp and then replace those 2 files and it will work. im on hermes too and no probs.

finally i got it to work
i had figured out my mistake ! becoz i had installed da patch came with da game ... and dis patch is for 3.55 only ... so dat when i try to run it , it says "upgrade yr system" but when i removed it , it worked nicely

ya that tricked ALOT of 341 users. i think i know ur source lol. that copy came w a patch. and dont update when prompted. i never do that anyway, ive heard its safe thru multiman but why even do it? unless theres a new character or fatalities for free theres no need. glad it worked for ya, its a great game after i spent about 8 hrs on it. smoke is my fav so far. killer easy combos for 30%!

that why i had suggested to remove [UPDAT.PUP] before u do any thing ! this file comes with any ps3 DISC and it's around 256 mb , in new games it's 90% 3.56 or 3.6 and both r killer .. lol ... do u imagine that if a nooob asked to update the sys ?
and yes i like smoke too .. but i like kabal more , gonna try to improve his combo

hey guys,

i'm on 3.41 hermes but with the 3.55 spoof.. It's asking me to update to 3.56 before I can proceed with the game.

I've replaced the eboot and DFENGINE.SPRX file with the modified one (by Glove) and thats about it. i'm using open manager to load the game and i also have a BLU Ray Disc In The Drive

i've read on similar posts that I may need to install the patch which came with the game and something about fixpermissions? can someone confirm this? and what does it mean by fixpermissions and what would I need to do?

EDIT: Nevermind Guyz.. I've Got it working in the end... I was using open manager when I needed to use multiman to change the Param.sfo from 3.56 to 3.41.. I also needed to delete the patch which is not required for 3.41 users!!

hello... please help me with this issue.. i'm on hermes 3.41 using gaia manager i'm trying to make the special moves work but to no avail... i've tried every fix there is and it just wont work... please someone help i'm going insane over this thing... is there something wrong i'm doing... i'm copying the fixes and copying the game on the hdd... not working... i've also tried external but also not working... please help :S:S

use glove fix , its confirmed working with all sp moves and fatalities ...
google it and replace eboot and sprx files ...
if u feel no luck to find it , i'll upload it
