I'm with the same problem. I'm on kmeaw 3.55 and trying to play the game online using the new sen enabler to spoof to 4.25. The game is on external hd. I downloaded the update and the tool that Bahumatlord posted. I installed the update and placed the eboot in bruteforce's folder then I ran eboot_fix. bat. I got an error saying there was a dll missing (msvbvm50) so I installed the dll and tried again, this time it worked. I replaced the original eboot with the patched one (wich was quite smaller) and ran the game on 3.55, getting a message asking me to update to a newer firmware, so I used sen enabler to spoof to 4.25 and ran the game again, getting "An error has occurred during the start operation. (80010017)". Please, somebody help!
I was getting this same issue but with staying on 3.55 KMEAW and using the 4.31 spoof enabler since staying with the 3.55 says it needs to be updated. I followed the same instructions and just ends up with a black screen. Doesn't lock up my PS3, but just stays at a black screen, have to use the PS3 button to get back to the menu. Anyone able to get past this hurtle please let us know how. I've been dying to get back on to Modnation Racers ever since I no longer had PSN access and didn't want to bother with using F*CKPSN. I was getting that same error rodolfmarg before I had updated it with the v0200 package he had linked to. I'm trying to load it off my external HDD that is FAT32. Haven't tried that Activate Bluray redirection in Multiman; might be my problem. Currently just try loading it from Multiman, it cuts me to the XMB and then I try loading it from the /app_home/PS3_GAME/ menu since it shows Modnation Racers there. I don't have any game in the BD Drive, either. Anywho, I'll test that and try again.
EDIT: Still no luck. Get black screen when loading it with my modified Eboot.
