Modnation Racers 3.55cfw can't play online?

I've gotten it to work I downloaded a pkg that installed the game to BGUS98167 which allowed it to install gamedata but the problem is I can't go online with it. I'm still signed on but at the modspot it says Ive been kicked from the servers since it can't authenticate me.

Download 3.55-UP0001-BGUS98167_00-0000111122223333.pkg for free on uploading.com
Download and install. Transfer "data" folder from game to in hdd0/game/BGUS98167/USRDIR.

once youve applied the update ftp into your ps3, download the update files from the games directory then put then into the pkg folder in the appropriate directory and compile. ftp your game back across (dont overwrite patched files) and it should work fine

Right now I'm getting a bunch of weird errors on startup and the game gets stuck at the menu at 95%

The problems you're having with connecting to the game might not be because of the cfw. I was never able to play online with my disc copy of the game since I was constantly disconnected from the online mod spot too. This was way before JB and the stuff that is going on now. So the problem might still be with servers they're using and not on your end.
