I tried the download in post 71 but it is was removed from MU. Any other place I can get it from. Thanks for the help tonybologna.
I had it working perfectly with the instructions that were posted earlier on page 9. The next day though, it doesn't work. I get the looping problem that many others have mentioned on the SCEA screen. I haven't done anything differently.
I'm on KMW3.55 with the newest multiman.
BTW there's an update for the game, 1.10. Do the pkg files or anything need to be changed because of this?
Does MLB works with the newest update .10? With .09 just goes back to XMB.
I also got a question about the gamescreen itself: I've got black boarders around the game screen? I change the screen position in game option menu, but still boarders.
FYI if anybody has the same problem as I did, I fixed it by deleting my Game Data, reloading the .pkg file with the 1.08 update, and running the game by going to MultiMan, then with another game disc in, going to MLB 11 The Show disc icon on XMB.

Thanks, but this won't work as thought. When disable on my 1080p TV all resolutions except 1080p most games start on 576x...
Hope belmondo make also a patch for 3.55!
Hey,
Thanks to everyone's help, the most naive of hackers (me) has got this MLB 11 working, so thanks so much. One problem I have in common with Varking (comment #110); I cannot get the PS3 Move controller to work at home run derby. I have the exact same problem; it asks to connect to port 7. I have done that and it is not recognizing it. Thoughts?
The instructions on page 9, and the it works only off the internal hdd. I kept my backed up disc on my external-tying up space.
