Mortal Kombat VS. DC Universe will not work for me Iv tried all the current BM, the lists say that its supposed to work discless. I have midnight club and castlevania working discless. Anyone able to get it working discless?

From my experience
3.41 - works discless no problem
3.55 - works discless, only using the bdemu (select + X) option where it mounts it to the root of the external. Other than using that option you need a disc on 3.55
What version of MM are you on?
I believe its one of the latest versions...between 1.16 and 1.17 or something round there. Make sure you have BDEMU.pkg installed for the option to work

I also got the black screen at first. To fix it (on 1.17 MM) press R1 to access sub-menu for game permissions. Then check the icon Direct boot (or something similar) on the left down side. Then just press circle to apply and return to game menu, and hit X to start the game. Works with KMEAW 3.55 discless.
Damn dude...you just made my night. I don't know that this has become common knowledge or not yet but this "direct boot" option has now made me have pretty much 99% discless compatibility on 3.55. I think i just popped a woody sayin that. Using that option right there made 3 out of 4 games that previously required a disc, to boot straight up no problem, no disc. Nice work Dean, I know the option has always been there I just never bothered to try it. Only thing thats a bummer for me is on one game it wont recognize my saves for some reason when I direct boot. However when i turn the option off and put a disc in the tray, saves recognize fine. Well you win some, you lose some but thats friggin sweet!!! :D
EDIT: I was even able to hack my save to work...shit-yea!!!
