    Hey guys,
Every time I try to play Mass Effect 2 on 3.55 Kmeaw I get error code 80010006. I put in a disc and I'm running Gaia 2.02. I also have ME2 backed up on the internal HDD and an external HDD. Can someone please help me out? Am I doing something wrong?

According to Google and the US Playstation boards, that error code is a console problem.

PlayStation® Community Forums: error 80010006, what can i do?

You can find a "fix" for it there, but it involves taking apart your console.

To be honest, I have never received this error code and don't know exactly what it is. Is Mass Effect 2 the only game that it happens on?

Hmm that's weird, it only applies to system updates. Maybe I installed the CFW wrong?

Perhaps... My Mess Effect 2 is installed and working just fine. Even got the free DLC from PSN and it's still working.

I think it's because I removed the eboot.bin file. I'll see if that works.

That could be the issue. You need the original EBOOT.BIN for any game to work on Kmeaw CFW.

^ it's a very buggy port, the freezing might just be it's glitches. it wouldn't be the first time save games were corrupted by a title.

for 3.55 users on kmeaw, install it from an external hd using gaia manager. that's how i worked around the "disc read error".

might have to have a ps3 game disc in the bdd.
