Now I've been googling, asking here & #ps3test.

Every time i try to boot ME2 i get a disc reading error.

    I've tried everything, different CFW's & BM's.

    Any clue what's wrong?

I had that too, run the permissions.pkg your ps3 will black screen for about 2-5 minutes then send you back to the xmb i think you can find the permissions.pkg on one of the back up loader threads.

If the above permissions.pkg does not work, I had that error too when trying to load ME2 with an edited EBOOT for 3.41 after already upgrading to 3.55CFW.

Are you sure you have the original EBOOT.bin with ME2? There are copies out there that are pre-baked for 3.41 JB already, these will not run on 3.55CFW.

I can guarantee that at least for me it did not boot ME2 until I switched from my previously working 3.41 EBOOT (that I had been playing with no problem before under 3.41 JB) to the original EBOOT.bin from the game, after I upgraded to kmeaw's 3.55CFW.

Have you tried running with a ps3 disc in your system and choosing the disc icon. I was getting disc is dirty errors until I started running it with a disc

    But it should work - a 3.55 ps3 shouldnt have any problems with a 3.41 signed eboot.bin...
