WTF are you talking about
Ethernet is just a cable and/or a type of interface. For example. I have a 50ft piece of Cat6 that is used for ethernet transfers. Doesn't have one thing to do with piracy

In this case, actually it does.
Ethernet transfers are for PC to PS3 and vice versa. This thread is about backing up Mass Effect 2 duration time. He suggested using ethernet, which means copying from PC to PS3. The only way I have MS2 on my PC is if I pirated it in this case...
since the non-pirate scenario would be copying from the disc to PS3HDD, then ethernet to PC, then Ethernet back to the PS3... which makes no sense in the context of this thread.

So the fact that the PS3 has an ethernet port to start means nothing to you? Nevermind

You didn't read my post.
In this case, the only reason to use the ethernet port is to transfer the game FROM THE PC TO THE PS3. You can't use the ethernet port to transfer a game from the BD Disc to the PS3.
If you are transferring from the PC to the PS3, you are pirating the game (in the context of this thread, since it is about the amount of time it takes to back up the BD Disc)

I am a pirate...I drink rum and wear an eye patch. Downloading PS3 games from the internet...nahhhh...I just sail on my boat and buy games @ $ 60 a piece.
sure.
