    Sorry i just copied the instructions from the program,

    1. The pkg creates a game folder on your internal hard drive (on your ps3)
    2. go to your usb (or wherever the game is) BLUS30427--PS3_GAME--usrdir

    so copy this usrdir folder to your internal hard drive of your ps3, but not the eboot.bin file (the pkg creates a modified eboot.bin)

    easy!

    how the heck do we work this?

    Method 2 : ebootFIX (Recommended Method)

    This method uses the tool of Deank (Multiman developer) ebootFIX.
    By this method it is necessary Multiman.
    To install the game by this method
    1.- Delete the game data you can have in your PS3 (this game).
    2.- Copy the game in your PS3, you now, into Multiman, and circle button.
    3.- Install PKG created.
    4.- Multimar again, go to file browser, GAMES folder, and enter in the game created folder.
    5.- Mark PS3_GAME folder, press R3, we ask if we want to make a Shadow Copy in the folder, you say yes.
    6-. Go to the XMB and launch the game ..... Lucky

    With ebootFIX create PKG´s for 3.41 and 3.55.

    NO idea what that means...especially #2. and in #3, when did we ever make a PKG??

    hi guys, i'm new to ps3 hb scene, just registered here to share my results;
    i'm conducting my tests with Heavy Rain/Rebug 3.41/Hermes v4c, for the record;

    i was able to create a working pkg no problem, used method 1 (veritas), installed it without issues, copied over BCES00797/PS3_GAME/USRDIR (without EBOOT.BIN) to /dev_hdd0/G/BCES00/ (version 1.0 automatically limits the folder name now, nice), all good.
    launch game direct from xmb, all good, it finds the required update (2.0), yeah yeah, download that shit already, installed even better because i had already downloaded it to my usbhdd (but it was downloading normally, i just cancelled also because my dsl connection is quite slow lol);
    at this point i was thinking i was going to get lucky this time, but noooooo, the damn shortcut disappeared from xmb/game after it installed the update.
    i'll try again later.

    Here is the discless pkg install for MotorStorm: Apocalypse BCES00484
    I found it here all the credit goes to kurdoloco
    3.55 kmeaw

    1. install pkg to ps3
    2. copy usrdir folder from your game (except for the eboot.bin) to the internal hard drive of your ps3
    the pkg creates a eboot.bin

    3. play from xmb

    do you realize rdr has a 6gb file and fat32 only supports 4gb files, almost all external drives are fat32

    you have to ftp it over to internal

    cheers
