Lost Planet 2 Mandatory Install Question

Ive looked all over the forums and used the search function and just couldnt find what i was looking for. maybe one of you can help me with this problem.

i backup lost planet 2 to my hdd
next i launch the game
prompted with v1.02 update, download update install everything is fine
but after the game installs lost planet 2 goes into a mandatory game data install since the game is on the hdd it shouldnt need the data, the problem is everytime i try to install the game data it fails

my question is, is there any sort of way to bypass the game data install?

have you tried using an external HD to install the game data? can you use the disc to install the data then play from backup manager?

this happens to me too, on the NTSC version, when installing the game data for the first time it stops at 75% and gives an error, then u can press X and install again, it will start in 75% and finish, then when u load the game again it ask u to do the install again, but it takes only a min or so, it tries to install but since the files are already there it skip everything, then the game starts.

Im using 3.41 with dongle and Multiman 1.15, what causes this to happen?

I got mine to work just fine.. i used Gaia Manager to load it.. i put in on my USB Hard Drive and it installed the data just fine.. from what i know Multiman can't run the game.. you have to use Gaia Manager (had to make a folder on the USB hard drive called BDRIPS, i think thats what it is).. and GNkyrios - did you make sure the one you have is made to be played on 3.41?? im on 3.55 CFW using Kmeaw and Gaia Manager 2.06 (theres a new updated i think)

i had the exact same problem with my backup of lost planet 2. What i did is i made another copy in an external HDD and installed form there, after that, i just ran it from the original caopy in the internal hdd.

as a summary, install from external, play from internal.
