Little Big Planet 2 and Shift 2
Little Big Planet 2 and Shift 2 –
04-10-2011,09:33 PM
Hi
I was on 3.41 and just made the jump to Kmeaw 3.55. Well i searched and replaced my 3.41 modified eboots with 3.55 files.
Having issues with 2 games:
Little Big Planet 2 gives me an error every time i try to start it up....A error 800 one. Does anyone know what i should going from 3.41 to 3.55 with this game?
Also Shit 2 - i replaced the eboot, and the param.....it still says "this game requires 3.56 you must upgrade".
Any advice on what to do?
Thanks in advance, and keep in mind i'm not very "pc smart"...I follow easy instructions made for a 5 year old.

Go to http://rebug.me, and find the 3.60 spoofer. That will let you play 3.56 games without having to change the param.sfo.
If you go to the link in my sig, at the bottom of the second post, there is a list of helpful links. You can find an original eboot thread there, that might help out with some of your issues.

Also i installed the 3.60 ReBug Spoof....now i get Error 80010017 with Shift 2...
any help for these 2 games?
Thanks a ton!

Stop finding for solutions and use the ebootfix yourself, it WILL work! Drag your game folder into the executable and it will create 2 folders inside ebootfix one, copy and paste the one fron [RETAIL] into your game and it WILL WORK!

I tried the eboot fixer a week or so ago...i couldn't get it to work.
I opened the ebootfixer, and a big black window opened up....it closed after 10 seconds or so....
If i dragged a EBoot, into the EbootFIXER black window that opens...and nothing happens...
I do drag the eboot into the big black window that opens? Just didn't seem to work for me.

you should drag the whole ps3_game folder not just the eboot.
so drag ps3_game to ebootfix.exe and let it do its job.

I double click ebootfix...the black window opens that say drop ps3_game into window.
Well i drag and drop it and nothing happens...
No new folders appear anywhere etc.
What am i doing wrong?
Thanks!

I am using Windows XP SP2. Just drag the PS3_Game Dir to the ebootFIX.exe file. A new window will open automatically and do the processing.
And also try to make sure you have the unmodified Original files intact in the Game Folders before you try ebootFIX to avoid other problems.
After that you will find two new folders in the same Dir as your ebootFIX program folder. Read the instructions how to apply these two new Folders to your game.
