If someone knows how to get Split Second working, I would be there best friend forever. In param.sfo it requires firmware 3.21! As far as I know, no-one has got this game working yet.

Hi, Jay-jay!
Did you experience any problems in Act 4 just as mentioned here:
PS Jailbreak Compatibility List - Home
"At The Beginning Of Act 4, A PSX Emulator Is Loaded In Order To Play The Beginning Of MGS1. This Crashes The Backup Manager! Workaround: Play This Part From Original Disc And Save Afterwards. Then Continue Normally. Or: Use Someone Else's Save File To Skip This Part And Continue Normally Afterwards.. File(S) Over 4gb. Metal Gear Online Updates Only."
Kindly confirm, thanks! :)
no brotherhood no disc fix yet?goddamn broken blu ray:( and its not available where i live
does somebody know how to run FinalFantasy 13 external? isnt it only 1 movie thats bigger then 4gb? thanks for help.
As you may already know, if a game backup has a single file that is over 4GB in size, it will not play correctly on an external. If you are positive it is a movie file, perhaps you can replace it with a smaller sized film and renaming it the same way as the bigger file. But this is just theory, I have never tested this before with PS3 games.
Back then I was able to play FFXIII from external drive when I copied the original game to Internal HDD then to External HDD using the old (first?) Back-Up manager. You will still be able to play the game but you will miss that 1 movie. I'm just not sure what happened to that movie file, if it was copied incompletely or not at all.
If you know someone who also did the same thing, you can copy his/her back-up of FF13 for you to be able to play it from external HDD. :)
In addition, there are downloadable back-ups of FF13 from ******.com and some of them are labeled: "Playable from Internal and External HDD". If that's the case, I assume those guys did the same method I mentioned above.
I'm a fan of FF13 so I still copied the game to my internal HDD. Although I haven't finished the game yet and I can't find any youtube clip for that missing movie so I can't suggest if it's really worth keeping the game internally. Note that FF13 has 40+ GB size, my copy is 41.1 GB (MRTC-00003).
does nail'd it or tron work without BR in?
