No, I didn't run into that issue. Perhaps because the person who reported that issue was using BM v1.0--a very old manager and most likely an old payload. I really wish they would update that info on that site, to avoid confusion.Quote:

As you may already know, if a game backup has a single file that is over 4GB in size, it will not play correctly on an external. If you are positive it is a movie file, perhaps you can replace it with a smaller sized film and renaming it the same way as the bigger file. But this is just theory, I have never tested this before with PS3 games.Quote:

In addition, there are downloadable back-ups of FF13 from ******.com and some of them are labeled: "Playable from Internal and External HDD". If that's the case, I assume those guys did the same method I mentioned above.
I'm a fan of FF13 so I still copied the game to my internal HDD. Although I haven't finished the game yet and I can't find any youtube clip for that missing movie so I can't suggest if it's really worth keeping the game internally. Note that FF13 has 40+ GB size, my copy is 41.1 GB (MRTC-00003).
