Even if it's only 720p it should still work.. i play all my games on 1080p and most only go to 720p.. so it should automatically upscale it...

I dont think so, all are: gameplay 720p and cutscenes 1080p...

Crysis 2 and Dead Space 2 run @ 1080p if I'm not wrong..
god of war 3 and uncharted 2 runs only at 720p but it has the best ps3 graphics until now.
Only some PS Store games like Super Stardust HD run @ 1080p, most games run 720p and many of them run even lower than that (CoD for example) :D
You guys wont see the difference on most of your tv's anyways...
Sitting in your couch you need at least 42 or 46 inch to see any difference
