That's weird, I don't really know since it hasn't happened to me. Does the game play now that you started over?

No, it doesn't... it's really annoying... like there's no way to do it all over again.

ok, got it working now from the internal and no black screen

well... I maybe it's because this time when i copied it to the internal i used USB Patch mode, but I'm not sure that's the fix. other than that...

just copied the game files
copied the PARAM from the 3.55 fix
installed the update.

just having this 'no dialogue' issue i read about in some forums...

For the no dialogue problem: did you un-select BD mirror for la noire in multiman?
That solved the no dialogue/cutscènes problem for me

hmm... it's not selected but maybe a different option in mm will fix this.

i have tried every option to get this to work from external for the last 2 days, runs fine from internal, ive selected bd mirror on installing the 14 gb, ive used MM file manager to transfer the patch param.sfo, ive unselected every option in multiman ive tried each option on, on install, sometimes with the gamefile splitting and coming out of gamez folder, I even lost my xmb cover icons in xmb game display trying things out, this has been a head fxxk for me, only thing i can think of is when i split the files using split4g i did it on 666# setting and they end up as 4 files 6661# 6662# 6663# 6664#

to be honest ive given up on internal, ive wiped it twice from internal, even though it works a treat tht way, but really want it from external, others have done it, but the tuts are really vague and different between diff people

I don't understand something... why trying to run it from the external if it's copying 14gb to the internal... what's the point? 8gb less on the internal or am i missing something

Wellwhen u have no space left on your 320 gb external, no space left on your internal ps3 60 gb cause of psn rebug store stuff and updates as big as ps3 games these days!, tht 8 gb its pretty needed tbh, and i dont like it others have got it working, when i cant! lol
