Kmeaw's CFW Compatibility

IF YOU ARE HAVING TROUBLE (BLACK SCREEN'S, FREEZES, ETC.) DELETE GAME DATA (NOT SAVE DATA) AND RESTORE PERMISSIONS

Okay, i had 3.41 this whole time when random CFW's were coming out left and right because i wanted one that had good backup support and on top of that the lv2 patcher uses PL3 as a base and that was just an added bonus (i hate hermes).

I read around and this one seems to be the best for 3.55. So I updated and im sure glad I did.

All i did was go to official 3.55 and then install Kmeaw's CFW via recovery and bam, it works great.

Just run lv2 patcher before opening multiman (i have the "signed" 3.41 version of 02.15.00 (i think thats the number)) and load your games.

But ill start listing some games i've tested, its not a lot but i havent had a chance to mess with a bunch of games.

Personally tested by me
-GT5 (Untouched, updated to 1.05) and it has worked great with no problems.
-NHL 11(Untouched) i had to delete my game data (not save data) because it was "corrupt" but it also works fine.

Tested by others- i assume these are all untouched aswell
-Assassins creed brotherhood (need to reinstall game data)
-Little Big planet 2
-Call of duty black ops
-need for speed hot pursuit

I did OFW 3.55 > Kmeaw's CFW > LV2 > MultiMan > Update GT5 to 1.05 > Black screen..

I have the BCES00569 version.

If I am understanding correctly, once I install this CFW, I will not have to use my iPod with Hermes anymore to JB ? I am on 3.41 and just starting to read up on these newer CFW's and there are so many posts. Will the games that I have on my internal HDD still boot ok since some of them have edited EBOOT's?

Guys i used to have that problem then i saw a post just install roger manager and when you are about to load the game from loader it will ask you to fix permission for eboot.bin press on yes and load from disc and ta-da

btw after roger manager did that fix i use it on multiman since it froze in the middle of a race with roger managar !

Already tried that. I tried fixpermissions.pkg too.

thats really wierd, all i did was replace my EBOOT with the previously signed for 3.41 EBOOT and the game booted into the game update screen and it downloaded and installed with no problems.

even did some of the online stuff to test it out and stuff.

Did you get your NHL to work discless?

no, i didn't bother since it didn't work in 3.41. I always just keep a disc in my drive now

this is the biggest reason i updated, i was tired of having to use my dongle to be able to play backups, so i just updated.

you will need to get the original EBOOT's for your games that you have edited.
