is it possible to have a game such as killzone 3 on external hd and create a pkg containing the joined psarc on internal, boot from external hd and have the game read the psarc from internal? that way you would have a minimal install on internal drive and still boot from external and hopefully bipass the need to transfer games to and from internal drive which is a right pain in the arse
im sure this may be a possibility and i would find it very usefull
info would be greatly appreciated
plz dont tell me you can only do it onm a pc cuz i only have an aincent emac lolzzz
Hermes' and IRIS managers both have a feature called "Bigfile Cache" - which does just that; allows you to run larger games on the external by caching the split files temporarily onto the internal drive.

How to do that ? Can I use giai multiman and rogero in one ps3? Currently using giai and multiman
Yes, you can have as many/few managers installed that you want. They all have different install locations on the PS3 HDD, so they won't overwrite each other.
Iris uses gamei as games folder can i change it to Games ?
Sorry, just saw it uses also games , I've one question can I just load heavy rain from external? In iris?
Heavy rain only needs to be on the internal for data installation, once thats done just move it to external and you can run it no problem.
Ahh I see thanks, What about Killzone 3?
