You can, but you can't install any updates to those games, if the eboots were signed with NPDRM keys, then you still can't play them. Also, if the game relies on any of the new libraries in 3.50, the game will freeze and crash when trying to access those libraries that don't exist.

Yeah, there's a couple of homebrew utilites that you can download updates via your computer with and then put them on a thumb drive and install them that way. There's also the brewology website.
