i am in 3.41 jailbreaked ps3 but i'm thinkink to put kmeaw CFW, but i would like a litle help...
wich one is better? 3.41 JB or CFW kmeaw?
the CFW let us play online and get game updates?

kmeaw's CFW is probably the best bet if you want to update and get online. Steps are as follows:

1. Update to 3.55 OFW via USB in the System Menu
2. Install kmeaw's CFW via recovery
3. Install lv2.pkg, syscall35.pkg or a version of Gaia (v2.0+) that supports auto lv2 patching.
4. Install a signed 3.55 BM (Rogero's, MultiMan, Open Manager, or Gaia) and play

Don't forget the ability to play any of the games that use the 3.50 SDK (NFS:HP, GT5, Sly's Collection, Splatterhouse, etc)

but Sony is going to release 3.6 or higher FW any minute, it will be cat & mouse game ALL over again. At this point, i'm still on the fence.

On top of that, i'm afraid Sony can detect cfw 3.55.
I'll wait two more weeks to see how the situation unfolds.

Yeah, there's a good chance they'll be able to detect what we're doing, but that's exactly why I have 2 seperate PSN accounts and 2 PS3's. I know it's not a solution for everyone, but if you've ever modded a console before that you could lose online with (xbox360) then you know this is the only way to be safe.

...but can't you just use the modified EBOOT.bin files to achieve that ?

ok, thanks a lot but i think i will be on 3.41 JB just for a little more time and let the developers do they work to a better CFW
