it could be an issue with an incomplete transfer, i know ive had that issue and just had to retransfer a couple times before it completed without having an error in the middle

Yeah that is what is weird..it doesnt show any error yet it just shrinks it to about 3 gig..its an 11 gig file. At first I thought it would not work because with flashfxp I was only using one of those evaluation copies so I thought Ok, I will get Filezilla, that is 100 percent free, it transfers the file, does the same thing, the second it finishes it shrinks the file to 3 gig..weirdest thing EVER..I just want the file transferred over so I can play Gran turismo 5

The file is still 11gb, its just the ftp does not accurately report the correct size on the ps3.

    80GB MGS4 PS3 Fat w/ 750GB upgraded HDD.

The only problem I have with GT.VOL using blackb0x and flashfxp is that when it reaches 100% it doesn't stop and so I have to manually stop it. Here's some info but I'm not sure if it will help: when I ripped my GT5 NTSC off an original disk, the size was actually 3gb and I keep getting black screen until I ftp'd the 11 gig one. Hope this helps.
